TJ HVAC Switch Replace

IMG_2915The fan/blower switch on your TJ has no doubtly had a problem or will have a problem.  Particularly the ones from 1999 and up (3 dials...not the slider kind).  The third and fourth on mine went out. 

Here we will show you how to access the dash area where the switch is located and replace it with a new one.

The Part number from the dealer is 5011214AA

Cost:  $36.23

Monster Allied Beadlock install

I finally got my new Allied beadlocks in. I got a killer deal from a supplier on Pirate4x4.

Its 17x12.5x9 aluminum with steel outer rings.

Cheap Cold Air Intake

Cold air intakes (or open element filters) are common these days, but still expensive.  There are some cheap alternatives to the K&N and AEM's out there.  One such is a company called Spectre.  Found on the shelves at Pep Boys.  For my 2002 Tahoe, it cost $125.00

If you're like me, you can't afford a trailer for your trail rig yet.  I can't wait to have one, but in the meantime I needed something to get my 1999 TJ from the house to the trail.  This became especially important recently. The family and I are heading out to Johnson Valley for "King of the Hammers"!
